Clent, born Clenton DuVal Birks preforms under his namesake as hommage to two of his favorite rappers, Nas and Tupac. Influenced by a wide range of genres he began performing at a very young age with various artists and crews. He found his niche combining social awareness, politics, drug dealing hymns and change.
The self proclaimed “backpacker witout a backpack” is gearing up to release two singles leading up to his 1st EP since releasing the “Passion of the Nice” and “Passion of the Nice 2/From Envy 2 Hate” mixtapes.
With a natural flow and an old school feel Clent offers a breathe of fresh air on his upcoming singles “Hey World” and the witty “Shitted On’em”. The Cali born, Mississippi raised and now Northwest native is proving his value to hip hop heads one song at a time.
